I work doing hospice as a cna and is starting school to become a LPN. I have seen so many different things in my line of work, people as me how can you do this kind of work? I love the medical field and even though i watch people who i have gotten close to pass away but i remember all that i did for them. I have had some that was ready to die and has totally given up since the moment i started seeing them they slowly gotten happier i became a friend that they could talk to and to just be there self around. i go the extra mile as far as i have one lady she gave up ready to go and now 2 months after me coming to see her she waits on me and her eyes lights up i know what she wants done and how happy it makes her to just have someone to listen to what she like the facility serves her pancakes every morning and she told me she just cant eat that all year long she mention she likes bisquits and gravy so i suprise her twice a week with it and the look on her face is priceless. i enjoy making people last days cause you never know when it will end happy i remember every smile and every difference i want to futher my education cause i want to do more than watch them die but to save a life and to do more for them but i will always be there always be a caregiver but a more educated caregiver
