Thanks for all the useful info so far! I've been reading all kinds of stuff on here for a while and decided to join in.
I am a just beginning my journey towards becoming a nurse. I have been a Chef for the past few years and recently came to the realization that I need a career change, and this seems like the right fit. I have just enrolled at KPU to take my prerequisites for BCIT Nursing. If all goes well, I will be applying for the January 2017 intake.
So for those of you who have been though the program at BCIT or are currently enrolled, I would love any advice on things I can get done ahead of time (as I have lots of time). Are there any courses that I should take in addition to the mandatory prereqs that would make my life easier when I'm in the nursing program? Really any advice would be awesome!!!
