Old New Grad here

Hi Guys! i just want to ask you about the chance of getting hired in texas ? i am a foreign grad from Philippines , i graduated last april 2010 with BSN and it took me 3 years to get licensed, is there any institution like hospital who will hire an old new grad without nursing experience?

thanks !

They will consider you as a new grad since you don't have any clinical experience. You can try and look for internship programs (others call it fellowship) where you will be trained for a certain time and then you can take it from there. You should start looking now since these programs are only offered on a certain time of the year.

If that's not an option for you, you can try other institutions like care homes and then you can make that as a stepping stone once you got experience.
