Hi everyone,

I am a student at one of the OHSU campuses, and thought I'd check and see if there were any other students on the forums. Just wondering what you have thought of the program so far, what clinical opportunities you have had or missed out on, etc.

Hi! I am applying to the OHSU OCNE program to (hopefully) start next fall. I am wondering if you did the proctored essay? If so, can you tell me what kinds of questions were asked and how can I best prepare for this? Thanks!

No, I'm sorry, I didn't have my essays proctored--they weren't doing that when I applied. You might want to look at essay questions on other schools' applications to get a feel for the types of questions most schools ask. That's the only advice I can think of. :)

The proctored essay was the same question as the non-proctored essay from previous years... Same old "why do you want to be a nurse and what experiences..." type stuff. Nothing too revelational...

Thanks for the tips, risible-which OHSU campus do you attend? What do you think of the program so far?
