OHSU Nursing Programs- competitiveness?

Hi!

I am wondering if anyone knows about the competitiveness/acceptance rate of the different campuses for the OHSU BSN program. I am getting ready to apply again this year- but having a hard time deciding on what campus (Ashland, Monmouth, Portland, La Grande, or Klamath Falls). Are certain campuses more competitive? I would assume the Portland would be the most, but wasn't sure about La Grande vs Monmouth. Last year, I made it to the interview round for EOU, but wasn't accepted after interviews.

Thanks!

Hi Mandi!

I don’t know if you ever found the answer elsewhere, but I just attended an info session for OHSU and they just gave these stats for last year’s cohorts:

3 Year BSN Program

  • Ashland: 140 applicants / 32 accepted (22.9%)
  • Klamath Falls: 100 / 24 (24%)
  • La Grande: 66 / 30 (45.5%)
  • Monmouth: 215 / 32 (14.9%)
  • Portland: 465 / 40 (8.6%)

16 Month ABSN Program

  • Portland: 500 applicants / 78 [14 accepted for Summer and 32 for both Fall and Winter cohorts] (15.6%)
  • Ashland: 110 / 23 (20.9%) - Ashland is adding a fall cohort next year so they will be taking on more students

ABSN to DNP Programs

  • Nurse Midwifery: 55 applicants / 10 accepted (18.2%)
  • PMHNP (Portland): 40 / 8 (20%)
  • PMHNP (Ashland): 5 / 2 (40%)
  • FNP (Portland): 52 / 6 (11.5%)
  • FNP (Ashland): 11 / 4 (36.4%)
  • Pediatric NP: 25 / 4 (16%)

Hope that helps! Best of luck on your application this round!
