Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) DNP Program

I didn't get an interview and was rejected immediately which is disappointing, but I'm just wondering what were your stats upon applying? My nursing school GPA was 3.3 which I thought was good but I'm starting to realize but not be so great after all....

I am sorry that you didn't get an interview ? Did they send you a rejection letter or did you just know you didn't receive an interview by their lack of communication? 

My GPA when I applied I think was a 3.7. Thank you for replying. I just wanted to talk with another person who has gone through this application process. They emailed me and said they still have not made any final decisions yet.

They sent me a generic email right after interviews happened, so they told me pretty early on. I get the sense that applications were extremely competitive this year, I didn't get in anywhere I applied (so far, waiting on one more school) which is a bummer because I feel like I have some great work and volunteer experience. 

I have a friend who applied to medical school at OHSU and heard from him that OHSU has a strong preference for in-state applicants.

I only applied to OHSU. I got word that I was accepted two days ago! 

I'm sorry you did not get in. I am sure with your experience you will get in next year. 

@NeuroNurse2021 Congratulations on your acceptance!  I applied for the Direct Entry FNP program and was waitlisted, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.  As someone who was admitted, did OHSU provide a deadline for committing to the program?

I believe the deadline was April 7th. I am not certain though.

Hi there! This thread is a few years old, but I thought I'd try my luck as I've been trying to get ahold of students currently in the OHSU PMH DNP program and haven't had any luck as of yet. Any of you on here in that program, or have a friend you could connect me to? I'll be starting the program in the fall and have some questions before the commitment funds are due.
