NYC New Grad Programs

Hi! I graduate in December 2024 with my BSN and am looking for nurse residency programs in nyc. I saw some hospitals have them but there is no info on when to apply and when they start. Has anyone been in one or knows where I can find out this info? Thank you!

Hey,

Same! I'm searching everywhere to see when MSKCC opens up. I was under the impression that most people individually searched hospitals. However, this would be very helpful.

Hi,

I am very glad to see this post. I am also graduating this December 2024 and I am trying to find information on nurse residency programs and perhaps, send in my application if possible. I have been searching the hospitals one by one but they also do not really have the full information available. It has been difficult finding information on new grad residency programs for hospitals in NYC (other states have them available already). I hope someone/anyone has information that can be helpful for this!

Hi!

I am a new grad RN who graduated in May, passed my NCLEX in July and have been applying everywhere in NYC. At the moment the major hospitals in the city have very low vacancy and are not hiring, I am still on waitlists for units and emailing recruiters. Therefore, it would make sense for there not to be info about new grad residency programs. Hopefully within the next few weeks positions will become available that new grads can apply to.
