Nutrition and Patho

Published

This summer because I am on placed on the waiting list at Clayton state, I still have to take one pre req. They are requiring me to take Patho however due to financial aid regulations I have to take another class. I do not have any other classes that I am required to take so I was thinking about taking Nutrition or Interactive Communication (which is communication in an healthcare setting) because these are classes that go towards your BSN degree. Has any every taken Patho with any of the other two classes? Is it wise for me take Patho being that it is being taken in summer with either of the two? I have to get a C or better so I do not want to be consumed with the other class even though it can transfer into the nursing program. Is Nutrition or Patho difficult?

Thanks to you all for your ongoing support

I am also hoping to take Patho during the summer. I'm only taking that class, though, because I have a couple of trips planned and want to be able to take the time off when I need to. And I just want a break before I (fingers crossed) start nursing in the fall. :uhoh21: However, many people who have taken Patho have said it is one of the most difficult classes they took during nursing. Any one else heard or think the same?

Both patho and nutrition should be the be the easiest of your worries. Both classes are regurgitation of material. Patho is very similar to A&P except you will go more in depth into the systems and you will be expected to know the A&P beforehand. Nutrition is the same way, learn the material and comprehend it and it will be fine. Not too difficult. Good luck.
