I am interested in a nursing program in the NYC area. I am on Childcare Leave from my job for the next 4 years and I want to make the best of it. So i am looking into nursing programs.
A lil about me:
My son is 6 months, and I am a stay at home mom.
I took a chemistry class at Lehman college this past spring semester. I totally flunked all the tests, so I am sure i failed the class. I didn't have the support I needed to study. However, my mom who just recently moved nearby is willing to be my full time baby sitter.
Getting into Lehmans nursing program isn't an option because of the Failure in chemistry class and it is super competitive because its a CUNY school and tuition is cheap.
Can anyone give me any ideas on my best route to take to become an RN?
Any schools within the tristate come in mind? Westchester area, NJ (close to NYC area)?
