Nursing program need help

I am looking into getting my RN and this school has been suggested. Here's my concerns. I've already completed my bachelors degree in psychology University of Phoenix only to learn it may not have been the best choice in schools. Now that I'm looking into a different career I do not want to make the same mistake. So questions...

1. If I get my RN a WGU will I be able to easily get a job at primary childrens or the university of utah in the nicu department or will I be over looked for someone else who went to a different school?

2. How long until I can start working as an RN? The prelicensure program has me confused.

I am mostly concerned about how important my resume will be or if it will be thrown in the trash because this school isn't good enough. Or is this school good enough. Anyone work for either of these hospitals???
