Nursing informatics

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum. I have been a RN for 6 years. Currently I work in urology. I just interviewed for a workflow consultant position yesterday, which takes me a step closer to nursing informatics which I am very much interested in. But I am in a dilemma. I am afraid of taking the position, if offered, and then not liking it. This new role will take me away from clinical nursing, so if I ever want to return it may be a problem.

Is anyone here in the informatics team or working with epic workflow consultant team?

Does any one have any suggestions for me?
