Nurses--Nurses-Life and death

Question: do nurses after 1 ++???years of experience feel differently about death/life than what they did in the beginning of their career ----Regarding what they believe and feel about death/life--------

-------let's say after 1-????years of experience ---of direct nursing care either in the hospital, nursing home, hospice. etc.

If so, what are the differences you have experienced??????

some questions for thought---

Are you more aware of life?

Are you more or less sensitive to death issues?

What are your perceptions about the life span?

What you your thoughts???

Do you view life differently--if so, how?

Do you view death differently--if so, how?

Having been a nurse for 40+ years and still active, I can say that it took me longer than 1 year to feel differently about life and death. Then I suppose it depends on the type of nursing that you do in your first year of nursing, and what you are exposed to at that time. :saint:
