Now What....

I just received word that I do not have enough time to do Suzanne's plan since the next mailing does not go out until 8/1. I was counting on using it but now have to come up with an alternative. I still plan on using Saunders book and CD. I used Kaplan the first time around and failed. A fellow classmate of mine took the online Hurst Review that was recommended by a friend of hers who took the live review. She also did Kaplan with us but did not use it because she did not find it particularly helpful. I am wondering if anyone has recent experience of taking the Hurst Review and passing the first or second time if you didn't use it the first time around. I'm desperate to come up with a good plan this time around and will be retesting on 9/10/08. I have already completed Suzanne's first time and found that helpful. I am NOT asking for Suzanne's plan, please do NOT assume that...I am asking what alternative besides Kaplan and in particular the Hurst program people have experience with.

Thanks much for your feedback! :banghead:

I used the live HURST review. I did find that it was an excellent review of material covered in nursing school plus great material on management/delegation. The test taking strategies that were made available in the course helped me answer NCLEX style questions on the practice tests and on the NCLEX itself. I did pass the first time I took the NCLEX and would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Whatever you do decide, good luck on your test!
