I just would like to add that not all LTF are as bad as others. It is unfortunate for the people who do live in these bad ones. I am blessed to work at one that I think is great, but have only been there for about three weeks. I am going for my NCLEX soon and I hope that after I recieve my licence, that the true colors of my coworkers and what may lie beneath a beautiful surface does not get ugly. I can only fix what I do and I promise as God as my witness, that I will treat all my patients/residents as I would want to be treated...If only every nurse would do this.

Isn't it a frightening thought to be a resident in some of these LTF? I cannot believe some of this staffing we hear about is even allowed.
