non nursing degree- looking into Programs- ABSN, RN, MESN

I graduated in 2005 with a degree in Economics.

I am not very happy in the business environment and am prepping for a career change. :nurse:

Ideally, I would eventually want to become an NP

I would like some advice into programs as far as RN vs. ABSN vs. Entry Masters Programs.

Because I dont have any science background Im taking all of my pre reqs now.

Does anybody have advice regarding career paths, nursing accelerated programs, or entry programs for non-nursing degrees?

I live in San Diego and have been looking into the MESN Program but its $90,000 for tuition only. Is this normal?
