NMC 2nd pack

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of getting all the forms in the 2nd pack filled out. I am currently a nurse in California. Anyone from California trying to get their license verified from the Board of Nursing. If so, were they able to fill out the verification of license including the "section of good character" with no problem?? I have just sent out the form and I am afraid that CA BON won't fill out the form completely. It just seems like California has so many strict rules and regulations. My hospital won't even let their managers/leads/supervisor fill out the "reference letter" from the NMC for "legal purposes" according to them. I have been having trouble getting all the necessary documents filled out since day one..... If there's anyone from California having the same situation like me or have their registration completed, please shoot me a message and let me now how your experience with this whole process has been like...any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Junoe

Have you read the reference form? It doesn't actually ask for a reference, but essentially that you're a nurse in good standing with the hospital and the dates of your employment. My hospital didn't allow "references" either, but then I showed it to management what they actually had to fill out and they did.

p.s. probably not a good idea to make multiple threads, as it's considered spamming on this forum.
