NLN advice

I'm 18 and I took the NLN test as a senior in high school. Granted I am not great in math, had an A in chem and B to C in writing, I had no idea what I was in for when I took that test. I was totally unprepared and totally flunked the test. I attend a techinical college where unfortunately they only give you 2 chances to pass that exam or you can't get into their nursing school. Had I known how hard it actually was I would have waited until I had some more classes under my belt at tech school before attempting that test. Now I have one more chance. I plan to get the NLN study guide, any other advice for me? This really has shaken the little bit of confidence I had in myself, which wasn't much, so now I am almost to the point where I think I may change my career path though I really want to become a nurse at some point in time...
