NICU interview help please

Hello all!

I am a new grad and recently recieved the oppurtunity to interview in a level III NICU. I am very nervous because I have never been great at answering questions. To all you NICU nurses out there, what were some of the questions you were asked? I assume I will be asked why I want to work in the NICU and I understand that I will probably need a better answer than "because I really love critical care, and that most babies go get better and go home, whereas adults might just got home. My favorite thing about nursing is the ability to teach people about their health and the NICU is rich with teaching oppurtunity" Any help on really good answers, or what your unit managers find really important would be so helpful. Thank you all so much for your time. WISH ME LUCK

Hi there! I am graduating in May and I just got a job in a Level III NICU!!! I mostly got behavioral questions like how I would deal with conflict with a coworker, how I would deal with a tough family, how I deal with stress, a time I've had a miscommunication and how I dealt with it, etc. Make sure that you go prepared with questions too! I hope this helps a little, good luck!!!
