I'm thinking of purchasing a Nexus 7 as a multimedia tool for my time in college and nursing school. Using it for surfing the web, watching youtube videos, downloading textbooks onto it if possible. Recording sound memos from lectures. And to entertain me if I have long breaks between classes.
So I have these two in my shopping cart right now through amazon:
Nexus 7 16GB BRAND new for $185 + Prime shipping
and
Nexus 7 32GB like-new for $165.99, no prime shipping. Comes with a charger, but it is NOT the original ASUS charger. Does not come in original box. The seller has a 97% positive rating, from 3,628 total ratings.
I figure with the money I'm saving from not choosing the brand new 16GB model, I can buy a sturdy case for the 32GB model.
Thoughts??
Should I opt for the lower model 16GB, brand new and purchase a USB-OGT cable for the peace of mind of me being the first owner? Or is buying like-new used not a wasteful risk?
