new york nurses

Hello,

I am currently in Nursing school, and, I am on Suboxone, I've been on it for 5 years, it is very difficult, especially after 5 years to come off. I'm down to 4 mgs. I spoke to someone at the NY BON, and, they said that I cannot be denied a job as an RN because I'm on suboxone. But in so many words, she told me I'd have a hard time getting one, and, of course, they wouldn't tell me that it's because I'm on suboxone.

Has anyone gotten a job as an RN in NY while being on suboxone?

Thanks for your help,

Domenico Buffolino
