New RN's.... would you go back and do it again?

Now that you've been a nurse for almost a year.... if you could turn back time would you have gone to NS? Do you think NS is worth it? Yes, everyone has their bad days but overall do you love your job and the decision you made to spend the money and time doing it?

While there are many aspects of nursing that are flawed, yes, I would do it again. I enjoy learning new things, helping others, and making a good living doing so. As a second career nurse, I can say that many professions are faced with similar issues. My plan is to stay with my current job for another year and find something that's a better fit.

I hate working full time, so within the next 4 years, I plan to decrease my FTE from a .85 to a .75. The key to making anything work for me is enjoying my time off. I don't live to work.
