I have been working at a nursing home for almost a year now and have just been recently accepted into a new grad program. I've ALSO been offered a position with another hospital, that is NOT a new grad position. I'm kind of torn as to which one I should go for.
The new grad program is rotational between oncology/tele and medsurge. The other position is for a medical oncology unit. I'm thinking the new grad program would be great (there were tons of applicants and there were only 8 spots) but on the other hand the other position involves training on one unit only, so probably lower stress level because I don't have to float around? Which job would you take?
Thanks! :)
