New Grad Applications 2012

Is anyone else in their third and final year of their BN this year and getting ready for new grad applications?

In NSW the New Graduate Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife Transition Recruitment applications open on the 6th of June, which is only a month and a bit away. I'm going overseas on the 8th of June (though thankfully with wi-fi so I can access info/my application) and I'm really starting to feel the stress of getting everything organised in time. Some hospitals have released flyers advertising info evenings however these evenings will be held during the month that the applications are open and not before they open.

I'd love to hear some feedback from other third years about their experience of this process as the time draws closer (because I know a lot of people haven't thought about it and haven't needed to think about it yet and will closer to the application dates and interviews.)

- What do you know about 'new grad' ?

- What are you doing / will you do to prepare for your new grad applications?

- Where would you like to apply?
