Hi there
I am wondering if anyone can help me write my nursing personal statement?

I dont think I can help as such, but maybe it would help to put your ideas down in this post, and let people comment from there?
As I don't know your background etc, it will be difficult to say anything other than to let them know why you want to be a nurse, what in your past indicates your aptitude to the career, what you consider nursing to be.
I was at the open day for Case Western on the weekend (For the DNP, so not sure how appropriate this is for you), but the director of the program said to indicate your understanding of nursing as opposed to say, physical therapy, and why nursing is your preference. However, that may be program or school specific.
The big thing is not to screw up spelling, grammar etc - the director said about how often she gets the personal statements back from reviewers with spelling and other errors circled - get it proofread, then get someone else to proofread it (and if you are from England like me - get an American to proofread it as we spell many words differently!).
Hope that helps some
I decided to go another route and applied to a local community college where they dont require an essay. After a long wait I just found out that i got accepted(yeah) because i completed all of my prereqs. Thank you.
