Need help!

Hi everyone I am currently trying to get into the nursing program and i finished up all my prerequisites but three which are Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 , chem and microbiology (Although Micro in not directly a requirement it is recommended because it gives you points for the admission process). For the Spring semester of 2015 i am taking Biology because i was told that it would help me for when i take Micro in the fall since i haven't taken a Bio class since middle school. I am also taking anatomy 1 and basic Chemistry. Is taking Anatomy, Bio, and Basic Chem in one semester too much? Also I will be taking anatomy 2 in the summer, is that too much? I just want to finish my perquisites by the fall semester so i can apply to the Nursing program by Spring 2016. Any advice would be greatly Appreciated.

There are a number of variables one must take into consideration before taking on a course load of intro chem, A & P I, and Gen Bio. How have you done previously when taking 12 credits? Do you have an understanding of science and the associated language? Are you capable of devoting a considerable number of hours per day to your studies? This relates to chem, are you strong in math, particulary the memorization of numerous formulas? If so, then you should be able to walk out with all A's. If not, I do not recommend taking those classes in that sequence for they all carry significant weight into the acceptance of any nursing program.

As a side note, a freshman at the university level would be expected to take those classes along with a English or humanity class.

I am currently taking 12 credits now and right now I have all A's and maybe one B if that. I have taken Chem in high school so I have some back round in it . I am just nervous because this will be my first semester of me just taking all science classes because of what everyone is telling me about how hard they are. Thank you for your advice.

Also does your school require some courses taken prior to others? My school requires BIO and CHM before AP1, and AP1&2 prior to Micro. Make sure you know the school requirements before creating your plan.
