Need help

Hi everyone,

I am in a situation and need help to make my mind.

I am a Registered Practical Nurse (LVN) from Ontario, Canada and planning to move to Texas to my brother. I have filled all the forms for Texas board of Nursing and hopefully within 4-5 months I will get green chit :) to write an exam. However, I also got an acceptance letter from my college, here in Canada (where i did my RPN program) for RPN to RN program. I was thinking to take admission in this program and within 4 months, I will complete first semester and use the course credits for my further studies in States, I mean for LVN to RN program in Texas.

Following are the courses, I am going to take in this program: Ethics and Moral Theory with 3 credits, Pathophysiology 4 credits, Patient assessment 4 credits.

My Question: Should I take admission in this program (last day to pay fees is today 5 Jan, 2012) or just move to Texas to my brother after 4-5 months ?

Colleges in Taxas will accept these course credits for LVN to RN program? (I know I have to check with colleges but any ideas?)

Which college has LVN to RN program in Texas?

Please reply ASAP.......I am in Dilemma

Thanks in advance,

Hi everyone..I'm currently a nursing student and am graduating in May. I really want go to Canada and attend the University of Alberta, as well as work as an RPN over there. Any advice on how I would go about this. By the way I have no family or friends that live in Canada, so I'd be practically on my own..any takers?
