I am currently in school for a degree in Human Biology and am set to graduate with a Bachelors degree in the fall.
I would like to become a nurse (and eventually an NP) but I'm lost as to what I should do next. My gpa is above a 3.0 but not "great".
I'm perplexed as to whether I should try to go for an ABSN or just go with the "easier" route of getting an Associates first.
Besides doing either of these things or going in for a regular BSN, do I have any other options? Have any of you been in the same boat, and what did you decide to do?
Just to clarify, I was thinking about becoming a PA but after working in a hospital for over a year now as a PCA/ Nurses Aide, I think I'd rather go with the nursing/NP route. I know that the hours are tedious, and this isn't because I couldn't do anything else with my degree. I genuinely want to pursue this and know what it entails.
Best,
Bekka
