Need Advice

Hi I am interested in being an independent contractor doing private duty nursing. I am a RN and will have nurses working with me on a small scale. I will become a corporation and everyone has their own liability insurance. Is there anything I'm missing? Do I need any special licenses or need to register with anyone, workers comp? I would appreciate any advice!!! I live in CA.
