Am in the same situation but I was told by the board I need to resubmit my application all over again meaning going to the school where you graduated from and obtaining a record of education with your official transcripts

I was also in the same situation like you are. I just took Nclex RN exam and finally passed it. I've struggled for five years and took Nclex multiple times... Please don't give up, believe in yourself. If I can pass it you can too... I would highly recommened saunders, prentice hall and Nclex mastry. I also have some Notes, if you would like to study. send me your e-mail address.

You can try attending a nursing review class near your area like America Healthways Review located in Cerritos or Artesia, CA or Excell Nursing Review located in Burbank, CA. I think that would help to encourage you more being in a class, if you're interested you can check their available schedules online. I am studying Saunders book 6th edition right now.

Also consider that having not taken NCLEX in 6 years means you are pretty far out from your program. Even if you can take it, you will be less desirable to employers because they would like someone with skills and knowledge fresh from school.
This is is not intended to be disheartening. Just an agreement with the suggestion to take a refresher course. They crash course the material from school and you can even find some with a clinical component (some states actually require a clinical component but I don't know which ones).
Good Luck!
Sure, please send me your e-mail address.
