I graduated in December. prior, to graduation we had to take two exit exams of ati. on the predictor 1, it said 71% chance of passing the first try, then i took it again a second time with a 91% chance of passing. our school has mandated that we do an AT Virtual if we did not get a 95% chance on the first try. I just took the VATI Predictor again today, and i got a 43% chance of passing. Im just so dejected.. help??

Keep doing as many questions as you can every single day until you take the exam. We also used the ATI system throughout nursing school and I found it to be a pretty good predictor of NCLEX success.

OP, do you have the means to do an in person comprehensive review with one of the other programs, like Kaplan or Hurst? If we scored less than a 95 on the comprehensive predictor, our program would give an incomplete, then require ATI live review or Kaplan until a certain level of proficiency was met. Some students who struggled with ATI did much better with Kaplan. I personally felt ATI was good prep and didn't have issues, but everyone has different needs, and those who were required to do Kaplan after not succeeding with ATI eventually went on to pass. I used the NCLEX mastery app for questions and did some spot content review with Khan Academy (free!) prior to taking my boards. I would also recommend doing some self analysis to determine if you're struggling with recalling content or if you are having problems with response strategies. I also really liked the ATI online learning modules, both throughout my program and as test prep. Good luck!!
