Hello, my name is Rebecca. I am new to this forum. Need some motivation from nursing students, graduates etc.... I graduated from nursing school this year, May, 2014. I took Kaplan review, thought i was doing really well. Took my first exam in July, 2014 and failed. Took my second exam in Oct.2014 and failed again. Feeling really down, frustrated and upset with myself. Not sure what I am doing wrong. The Kaplan instructors aren't that helpful.. I was considering taking the Hurst Review. Has any one heard of this review or taken it? If I could get some advice, I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks again, Rebecca.

I did the Hurst review before I took my exit exam and passed first time. It is content review more than just doing questions. Did you read the Kaplan ebook too? We did the Kaplan review in class and all it was how to break down the question. It helped me somewhat. I like the PDA book, Lacharity, even though it's for RN's mostly, we still have those type of questions for LPN. Great book. And the study guide that is floating around on here too. Hope that helps and good luck!
