how did you do on NCLEX practice exams?

Hi everyone!

I am a student nurse studying for my NCLEX exam. I have bought all sorts of review books (Lippincott, Saunders, Mosby) and am currently taking all the content-specific practice test questions.

However, no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to answer more than 70% of the questions right in the books. I review the chapter ahead of time, I read all the rationales but I still can't seem to do well on the exams.

My question is: how well does one need to do on these practice exams to pass the NCLEX?? Should I be really worried that I can't do well on these exams or do you think my passing rate is normal?

I am really worried that I am not going to pass!! After all the money I spent to study nursing, I don't think I will be able to use this degree at all!!

Thanking you all in advance for your advice and help.

Celine
