Hello, I am knocking on doors daily for a preceptor with no success. Please help.
I have over 15 years of nursing experience, an Army Veteran and a current Commissioned Officer in the US Public Health Service. I attend Frontier Nursing University and they they offer a stipend for precepting and other benefits. Looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife.

I can't imagine the difficulties in finding a preceptor! Do you have any local military bases or VA centers you can look into? What about free clinics in the city?
The Va doesnt cover family and OB so that would be limited. I have started with the base but without an inside scoop.. that hasnt worked yet either. Thanks for your ideas!
Would they allow a women's clinic for ob!?, planned parenthood, or can you call the HR at local hospitals an speak to the clinic managers?
