MSN program that accepts an RN with a BA in Psych?

Hi all, thanks for looking. I was having a debate will a colleague and she said there were colleges that would accept an RN with a BA in psychology for a nurse practitioner MSN degree? I feel like I've looked into it before and they only offer an MSN without being able to be an NP, or, something to that effect but she was positive that I could go for my NP. Does this sound correct to any of you? I'm looking to become a PMHNP and am willing to get my BSN to do it, but, if I could avoid that, it would certainly speed up my life goals.
