moving from MA to AZ

I am moving (hopefully) to AZ, Pheonix/Tempe area and would love as much info as anyone is willing to give. I have been a licensed LPN for 1year and four months mainly on sub-acute units in skilled care facilities. I would love to work in a hospital setting and still be able to bring home a good paycheck. Any advice? Once I get settled (in a year or so) I would like to go on for my RN/bachelors. I am eager to learn and love being busy. I make 22.00 an hour plus $3 differential. Is there hope for me? Thanks.:p

well one thing for sure, you will not make that sort of salary in the hospital setting here in arizona... i am in tucson, and i know that health south pays really good like that. but if you want to make the money you are now, the hospital setting may not be the place for you. i am sure health south has facilities in the phoenix area, check it out. i have a n rn friend working at hs here, and she loves it, and says she is using her skills there.

good luck whatever you choose!!!
