do you know your content and testing strategies well? I believe the test only test for minimum competency.

It doesn't mean you have lots of review materials nor you read lots of questions and answers but you are not feeling ready 80% possibility you will fail. However, I believe you can see the results after your pre test if you fail REVIEW your WEAK areas and take the test again. Good Luck and don't forget to PRAY.

Do the Kaplan. I know many nurses who have failed and did the Kaplan and passed with no problem the second time. I myself did the Kaplan and passed with a score of 78. I went to one of there classes which I thought was going to be a waste of money as I had went to many other classes. But I was totally wrong somehow they get you answering questions even when you don't know the topic that they are talking about. I also did ALL of the Qbank questions and went back threw all of them all over again. When taking the exam I came upon a couple questions that I didn't know but followed the steps they taught me in class and felt confident on my answer. If I didn't do the class along with the thousands of questions over and over I wouldn't have passed. I really believe in this course. It works :) you just have to put your all in it! It's totally worth it in the end. Good luck!!!!!! :)
You did great!!!!

I'd recommend 3 months of studying if you don't know your core content. I'm a foreign nurse too, I did the Hurst review and it helped me out a lot! Remember, you have to think as a brand new nurse, do not rely on your experience as a nurse friom a foreign country. That always gets you in trouble with the questions. The NCLEX nurse and real life nurse are two different people. Do lots and lots of questions every day to get familiar with how they ask. Saunders is great and like I said Hurst. I also recommend the free Kaplan Nclex tests they do online.
