I am finishing up my time at DePaul University, majoring in Public Health. I really want to go back to school and continue my education to get a degree in nursing, and since I already have a bachelors degree, I would like a Masters Entry Nursing Program.
So far, I have limited my options to Johns Hopkins, Case, or DePaul. (note: DePaul would be about have the cost as John's Hopkins, since I would be a returning alumni.)
My end goal would be to work as a Nurse Practitioner. I was just wondering if anyone with more experience could give their input on any of these programs? Is the debt worth it? I know that ABSN programs that could be significantly cheaper, and less time...but I am really excited about pursing this as a long term career, and think that it could be worth the extra investment. I would just appreciate some more experienced opinions :) Thanks!
