if you submit your application, and you qualify to get accepted, but there are no more spots available, they will send you an e-mail with the option to defer your application to the next semester. This way, you become first for the next semester and you do not have to re-submit the $50 or any other paperwork/application.

I bought all my books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Just make sure its the newest edition. You can get a tape recorder at walmart or target I know for sure.

OK...so I called Nova today, and they said orientation for Winter 2011 will be on January 5th!!!!! They also said the website should update in a few weeks. Yay!!!

has anyone heard anything about winter 2011 orientation????? I wish they would post the new info so I could buy my books...

do you have a copy of your vaccination records? b/c i believe you should've already had mmr(measles, mumps, rubella) to even start 1st grade. you should've already had hepatitis b too. so what you probably need is: tetorifice (td), hepatitis titer (to check if your body still has the antibodies needed to protect you, since you already have the vaccine), tuberculosis, and varicella (but if you've already had chicken pox, you need the varicella titer...to check if you are actually immune to it)..............but of course you should double check your vaccination records to make sure. i believe you can get them from your high school, doctor, or your parents might have a copy.

if you go to: http://www.nova.edu/cwis/hpdasa/orientation/entrylevel/index.html and look on the right hand side, you will see the link to the booklist, dress code, orientation schedule, etc. however, it has not yet been updated for winter-2011. everyone has been saying we need to get the newest editions. also, they may decide to change certain things. personally i'm going to wait...just b/c i plan to buy them online and i really don't want to go through the trouble of returning books and getting charged extra $$.
