  1. Haven't been on this site for awhile, I myself is a nurse from the Philippines and now a RN here in Ontario. Some of you guys are totally not helping at all. I thought this site is made to help out nurses who needs advice. I myself did seek advice when I am in the process of getting my license here. I must say, I AM NOT GOOD IN ENGLISH but my english is good enough for my patients to understand and for me to understand them. And I believe that is enough. I am commended of being the best nurse on all my jobs, In spite of a little language barrier. She is just asking for some advise. and yes as PRAIRIENURSE1989 says she didn't say that she was denied of pursuing her RN career here in ON because of english inefficiency. You don't solely need to be fluent in english but you have to have the knowledge and skills of a NURSE. You are not english teachers or professors to be so flawless on your grammar. To iamdi, College must have a reason for the refusal. I myself is a RN in the Philippines and NY as well.. As others have said, I completed the BET as well and that helped me to get their permission for me to take the CRNE. I took the CRNE after that and passed it the first time. I am now practicing here in Ontario for 2 years now. Wish you all the best. PM me if I could help you on your journey.
  2. After I checked my mail I slept and woke up this afternood and checked the mail again.. There's only one mail and it is from CNO.. I PASSED!! My knees are shaking and I cannot explain how happy I am! This is my 1st attempt and an IEN like others =) Really Happy! Congrats to everyone!
  3. Still no mail today here in niagara falls
  4. awww.. thanks pickles... hopefully tomorrow I will receive my results hehe =)
  5. I guess people from GTA and nearby city received the result first.. So most probably, other cities in Ontario will receive their reults either tomorrow or monday. Congrats Larret! and to everyone who pass =)
  6. Wow!!! Ontario results are in!!! Congratulations everyone! Still no news for me. Im from Niagara Falls
  7. I agree with SAVN24, it is for sure that they are in the process of sending the results because it is already the 6th week next wednesday. When I emailed CNO for my change of address she reminded me that results will be "received" between the 4- 6 weeks.
  8. Still no news... Most probably next week.. Hopefully
  9. Congrats brandon and to those who passed.. I guess this week is the longest part of the waiting period.. Any news from other provinces?
  10. On which province?? Hope you dont mind that I asked
  11. Best of luck to everyone. Hopefully next week they will sent out the results already =)
  12. I believe that the time frame depends on every case. I cannot remember the timeline but when I first submit all for the requirements (including transcripts and verification of employment) it really tooked 3 months after they received all the documents. Then when I recieved my BET to fill in and be able to submit it, it tooked only a month for them to assess it and mailed me my eligibility. Maybe it depends on the load of the assessor. Every applicant is different and unique in terms of the degree, school, work experience and other factors so I guess that's why they cannot give a specific time frame in finishing the assessment.
  13. The cprne results was received by test takers on the 5th week and it was dated 1 month and 3 days after they took the exam so i guess they finalize results on the 4th week and started to mail out results after that
  14. I guess either thisnweek or next week they will start mailing outbthe results :) goodluck to us!!
  15. Few more weeks to go guys... the RPN results are out.. we are next! =) Hope they will release it by 1st week of 2nd week of March Really Praying I passed
