Me too... Took it at 8 am... Stopped at 75 and passed!!! Left the center smiling cause it was a veryyyy easy exam... People describe nclex as a killer and horrible exam but it's is NOT!!!! congrats!!!!

If we don't make it.... It's fine!!! Think about it... I rather fail and grow in knowledge then pass by chance..... We are dealing with lives and we can't get a license if we are not ready! But I have faith we will be fine.... Kaplan exams are veryyyyyyyyy hard!!! Every time I take one I feel I will get only a 10% Lol....

Hello everyone.... I'm also testing on Monday the 16th and we have to be excited that soon we will be RNs in the name of our lord. Before we test we should say " Jesus I trust you" he will be with us. I took hurst review did my exams 66 to 88 on my exams, did Kaplan trainers ranging from 57-59 trainer 6-59 and 7-66 havent, readiness test 65%, Also doing la charity and getting on the 60s, only took 5 test from the q bank I have not review Pharm at all and I don't know my labs... Weak on OB. My friends took it and they say is mainly priority, teaching the staff and infection control (weak aswell lol) but still think we will make it..... I can't sleep and cry almost everyday, :'( had changed it to the 23rd but Im going crazy!!! Lol so i decided Its time to show the world we Will be great RNs!!!!!

NOOOOOOO Jeans its a BIG NO!! they will send you home if they see u on jeans or sandals... IK IK,, but, it is what it is... it is not necessary to go with a suit.... :) just wear a blouse and pants... and u will be fine (white jacket on) if u dont have ur scrubs it is OK!!! Dr, Lyons usually let u come in without uniforms for the first month, as long as they are not JEAN LOL... :) and dont be nervous.... JUST BE PREPARE!!! AND U WILL BE FINE!!!!!!

HEY, THEY DO... WE HAVE GREATTTTTT PROFESSORS. They are not always on top of you, but if u dont pass one of their exam u have to go to you advisor (mandatory) and they tell you what to do.... I think they are FAIR, not sweet not sour (LOL) if you go to Ft Lauderdale you will have Dr ***** for Anatomy and physiology (OMG) sheeeeeee is sooo smart that she doesnt need a book or anything to explain what the heck its going on !!!! I:redbeatheher!!! then we have some others that are OK... for example if you have 74.9 and the passing grade is 75 sorry but u wont make it! Just keep in mind that you have to be positive and we all can do it

hey, my advice to u is to wait.... until they give you all the info, for the first semester i bought all the books and ended up returning 4. i just went to the bookstore and now they have this program where u can rent your books and you save 50% , scrubs just get them somewhere else the bookstore takes for everrrrrrrrr to give them to you, but they give u like a month to go on regular cloth (no jeans), tuition 6000, insurance i have my own but its like 1200.... :)

welcome guys.... im actually a 3rd semester at Nova Ft Lauderdale> ADVICE: TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!!!! FOR 1ST SEMESTER the hardest class is A&P ( just read the ppt and if you dont understand it then go to the book) really read.... and enjoy because you dont really start your nursing classes untill 2nd semester. 2ND SEMESTER (OMG) i dont want to scare you but... WOW!!! BE READY for those of you that are planning on working i dont think its a great idea... second semester we had health assessment (Killer) Pathophysiology (Killer) Foundation (OK) and critical thinking (waste of time) for clinicals you have to go to skills lab once a week and to the Hospital once a week also for 12 hours ( what yo do its morning care, change them, clean them, give meds, etc) ONCE AGAIN~~~~~ Be ready!... you have to be on top of you game because the road its crazy!!!!! Welcome to the rollercoaster!!!!!! PS about the scrubs.... mmm the ones from bookstore they SUCK!!!!!! i actually got mine at alluniform store!!! they really dont care as long as they have the teal color :) and they are wayyyy cheaper!!!!

ohhhhhh for Orientation day... go professional and with comfy shoes... because it is the WHOLE DAY!!!!!! if u have any questions :) just ask me... im mmore than welcome to help yoou guys!!!!!!

:) CONGRATULATIONS!!!! All i can say is... GOOD LUCK! im actually a 3rd semester student at NOVA... and let me tell you ITS TOUGH! BUT, its doable... for those of you starting on 8/30 if you go to ft lauderdale you will love Dr. Lyons she teaches Advance anatomy and physiology. I started on January with 138 students and as bad as it sounds only 80 made it.... :S lots of people failed.... BUT U CAN DO IT..... JUST STUDY AND DO UR WORK!!!!!! good luck!!!!!

did u have to go to an interview again? WOW sooo lucky... I am freaking out cause my letter said BSN - Ft Lauderdale but that form that says intent to for Mayers its like killing me and im also missing Sociology that I have to take next semester. I dunno they are soooo late I think cause i got my letter oin Friday and I already have to pay 1000 tomorrow... im like OHH LORD! whats next...lol

when did u get accepted? have you done everything? did they send you an intent for to enroll in Ft Mayer? lol.. so many ????????
