MDS Tools

Can anyone tell me if there is a program I can use to help with scheduling ARD's?

Put in start date, and it figures out dates for you.

Thank you so much for the info. I will try it out tomorrow when I go to work.

Happy New Year:nuke:

I have found so much support on this site I thought I would post some tools that I have collected, just in case. I haven't done mds and am going to get trained this year but I saw this form used and if you look at review your residents about a week before the locking of the ard you might get a better score?????

That is the link for the RUG classification tool.

It tells you how scores are made, and lets you figure out BEFORE LOCKDOWN where an ADL score will land. (we have a computer program that tells us before lock down also)

The second page tells you all the parts of the MDS that are FINANCIALLY POIGNANT.

If you can get the staff completing those sections to really pay attention to those questions, it will nail your CMI and RUG scores where they should be. So often many people dont realize that their input increases or decreases CMI and RUG scores.

Good Luck.

We are using a "Med A tracker form" and meeting twice per week to flex our ARDs.

I don't know who created the Med a tracker form, though. I cannot attach it here , it is an .XLS file.

Send me your email, and I will get it to you.
