Marymount Transfer Spring 2017

I applied as a transfer for Spring. I took Microbiology over the Summer at a community college to get myself back in school mode, but I've been out of school for almost 10 years. I'm hoping to get in the first review but I'm not sure that my schools sent transcripts in time (one of them is notoriously slow.) I was actually accepted to Marymount years ago as an Interior Design Student transfer but didn't end up going b/c it was a lot to spend on something I wasn't 100% positive I wanted. Funny, now I'm applying to the nursing program. I took the TEAS in June, and I'm glad I studied for it. You'll be in good shape for it if you've been in school recently. Fingers crossed we get accepted :)

I currently took the TEAS on Sept 2. I didn't like my score and I'm scared that I will not make the first review with the TEAS. My Pre Req and GPA are great but idk. Hopefully we make it.

Ooh really! It's funny but you found what you like. It better to figure out what you want to do then spending money on something you gunna hate lol

Did you guys take the ATI-teas or teasV for Marymount?

Ohh okay thanks for the response. I did the same thing you are doing. I wasn't accepted into the NOVA program either, so I decided to apply to Marymount. Hopefully I have some better luck. I submitted my application for the for the spring 2017 semester. I received in the mail that I had to sit for the ati teas before I am even gonna be looked at. Not sure if anyone else received the same letter not. I already took the teas v and was wondering if in fact I do have to take ati teas?!?

Really? You didn't either! Well, I learn they are only offer ADN so I rather just go get my Bachelor lol!

i ask them that if I will be consider for the first review if I take the TEASV on Sept 2. And they say yes but only if I turn on all the paper works which I did. I got letter saying they received everything except the TEASV!

Which TEAS did you take? They prefer the one with the science one. NVCC didn't do that. I had retake mine.

I took all the sections, maybe I'll have to just talk to someone at the admissions office then. I turned everything in but I am not sure what deadline it will be looked at. I guess if I haven't received anything about missing anything then I guess I'll be looked at in Sept 19.

It does hurt to try to ask ! The dateline was Sept 2. Next dateline is October 19. You get everything by mail.

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of applying to NOVA and marymount's programs. Would you guys mind telling me if you got in/what your grades and scores were? I'm nervous about applying because of how competitive NOVA's program is (I had no idea it was so hard!). These are really my only two options as I don't really know of any other schools so I'm kinda freakin out!
