Malcolm X College-City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing Spring 2024

I'm having trouble with the documents as well. Are we only updating these vaccines or do we also need to submit the drug test? Also does the background check have to be recent? I have one from work from a year ago. I don't want to submit documents they won't accept. 

The drug test we don't have to do till we get accepted into the program. So you don't need to worry about that. But the background check has to be through castle branch. They have the code for you to use to order it on the mass email they sent with all the nursing info. Hurry up tho because it took about 3-5 days for them to update mine and get the results back. 

OMG! I did not get an email! That's why I am so lost. I just checked my school email and personal one. 

Hey guys have you all heard or received any updates? I wasn't immune for Hep B or Varicella so I went and got the booster shots for them on the 9th before the deadline and castle branch says I have 2 incomplete items still cause they updated it to me needing another round of titee drawn due 12/9. Wonder if this hinders me from being considered. Anyway how's your guys process going?

Hello ! I applied for Spring 24 RN program on my application everything says complete besides the medical documents. The medial documents say incomplete but on my castle branch everything is marked complete. The application also say in progress. Is anyone in the same boat or how far along are you guys with your application ? 

If your medical document says incomplete but you did everything, email one of the people in charge of medical documentations that we received in the information package. Mine says viable candidate now that everything is marked as complete. Hopefully we hear back soon!

Hey y'all, on my application it still says "In progress" and everything is complete except my medical documents and my background check still says "awaiting results" but the results have been available in castle branch for the longest. I did email people in charge of the medical documents and background but they never said anything bout my background check and for my medical documents it's not complete since I needed booster shots and repeat titers but nobody has followed up. Just scared I won't be considered because of this but I have proof

Okay I have emailed them multiple times and no answer did you email the nursing coordinator? 

I did but I'll try again today cause man LOL

It seems like administration is super disorganized it's been extremely frustrating. It seems like nobody ever answers the phone 

Did any of you guys have the chance to go to an online meeting? I never got the chance and would like to know what they said about when we will know more information
