LVNs in NYC

Hello everyone. I am a nursing student in Texas and I desperately want to move to New York City after completing school. I visited NYC a few years ago and fell in love. My plan has been to apply for the LVN program, and then transition to RN. After I get my associates, I want to move to NYC, and, hopefully, while I'm working, continue my education to receive my MSN. However, I would love to move to NYC as soon as possible, and I was wondering if I should just do so after I finish the LVN program. My question basically is, Is this a good idea? Is there a demand for LVNs in New York City? Or would I have difficulty finding a job?
