Question

Can You Work Full-Time During the Indiana State LPN to BSN Program?

HI,

I'm an LPN that also has a bachelor's in a masters in an unrelated field. And wondering if I'm coming in with transfer credits? How long will the program be for me?

I work at 9:00 to 5:00. Is that feasible? In that can I schedule tests and stuff in the evenings? Is it extremely work and test heavy if I'm working 9:00 to 5:00 as well?

Yes. Since you already have a bachelor's and master's, many of your general-education credits may transfer, potentially shortening the Indiana State LPN-to-BSN program. ISU will need to evaluate your transcripts to give you the exact length.

For working 9–5, the program is designed to accommodate working LPNs and can be completed part-time. Clinicals can generally be scheduled around your work, including evenings/weekends. It will still be demanding, especially during clinical-heavy semesters, but working full-time while completing it is feasible.

I'd estimate around 2 years for you, but your transcript evaluation could make that shorter or longer.
