Hi, Not sure what part of MI you are in but I am in the same situation. I have been doing tons of research on this and this is what I have found out... I know that Oakland Community College and St. Clair Community College both offer 1 yr transitional programs from LPN to RN after you complete your pre-reqs. I just discovered Monroe County Community College (along with Kirtland CC and Kalamazoo Valley CC) offers an ONLINE LPN to RN program w/ clinicals. I am going to contact them tomorrow and get more info...I am very interested in doing it online. I was considering Excelsior College distance learning through The College Network until I was told that there are some states that you could not be licensed in (CA and MD) after completion... I don't want to be limited as to where I can practice in so I am not going that route, although the state of MI does accept that degree as well. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Are these to only programs in michigan where is oakland county ?
