LPN Kim59

Hello everyone, I'm new at this computer stuff, as well as this website so please be patient. I do have a question that I'm having a hard time finding the answer to. I've asked several RN's and have gotten several different answers. I'm a home health LPN in Missouri, one of my pts. is having a central line put in to receive Vancomyicin. My supervising RN says that a LPN can administer the vanc. as long as the RN accesses the port. I had always been under the impression that a LPN in Mo. was not allowed to do anything with a central line. Can anyone out there help me clear this up?

Thanks, Kim59
