Hi, I'm a RN who has been out of work for a long time. Does anyone know of a good refresher course?
Thanks!

Hello clar,
I am not sure what these RN refresher programs are like, however, you can look into them and see whether they work for you. I myself have been out of nursing for a year and have thought about whether or not I need one of these courses before heading back to nursing; I recalled these from a search I did recently.
I know Molloy College is a good school in Long Island and would start with them for more information, however, I am not sure about the other refresher course. I guess it doesn't hurt to look into both. Also check out Nursing Spectrum and Advance for Nurses both on print and online since I know they have educational advertisements as well. That is how I found the RN refresher ad for Molloy College.
Sorry I could not be much help with more solid information, but hope this is a good starting point for you.
Take care and let me know what you find out.
