looking for funds in all the wrong places....

Okay

I'm trying to figure out this whole financial aid thing and I can't find any info (florida related) to help me out so I'm sending out my questions to you all...

I turned in my FAFSA and FCCJ came back saying that I'm eligible for any grants...and I can't seem to find any nursing scholarships or loans out there in internet land...

I really just want to be prepared with all of my forms if (when) I get in this summer term when I'm applying...

anyway...any info will be great! :w00t:

There are several places you can look into for private loans.

Chase student loans

Sallie Mae

Astrive Student loans

As far as scholarships those are a bit more tricky and sometimes require you actually get INTO school and prove yourself academically. Some hospitals here in Florida, if you already work for them or agree to work for them for 1-3 years depending on the hospital, will pay towards your tuition. The amount is dependent on the institution (hospital). Even if you don't qualify for Pell grants almost everyone is eligible for some type of federal loan through FAFSA. Your financial aid contact at school should be able to look at your FAFSA report and tell you what amount of federal loan or Pell monies you qualify for.

Hope this helps.
