Hi, im new to this site and think its amazing!! Kudos to all the nurses and LPN's and CNA's!!!
I want to enroll in a LPN program in Southern New Jersey. Any suggestions to community colleges that are still excepting applicants and schools that dont cost a fortune to attend? I'm supposed to go see the LPN program at Lincoln Tech Institute, but the tuition for a 12 month program is $23,677?!?! That seems super high to me.
Also, Im thinking about going to PRISM institute, I think tuition is $10,000 +. I still think that expensive. Any suggestions would be great valued!!
Has anyone attended these institutes for a LPN? Or can someone recommend a good school, that I enroll in for Sept 2008?
Thanks:no:

Don't know where you are, but there is Cumberland County College (No HESI as an exit) in Vineland and Salem Community College in Carney's Point(HESI Test used as an exit). Not sure of the tuition, but it's not $23,677.
I checked the Cumberland County College website and they do not offer a program in LPN. Where did you get your information from?
Thanks
I'm sorry, Cumberland County College does not offer the LPN Program. It's the Cumberland County Technical Education Center. I believe you can look it up on line. Best of luck to you in your endeavors.:wink2:

Most of the counties in Southern NJ have Technical Institutes that offer an LPN course. The tuition is nothing like the ones you have mentioned. In Burlington County, the tuition is about $7000 a year and includes books and uniforms.
I forgot to mention that Delaware Technical Community College in Delaware also offers a LPN program. I don't know if you're located near the Delware because that might also be an option.

I am attending the vocational school in atlantic county (mays landing). classes just started for us August 1st. the program is 11 months and the tuition was 9,000 (with books and evrything, just under 10,000) If you are still interested, they will start the first round of testing in January, and the next class will start August 1, 2009. There are about 5 different test dates, and about 250 test and only the top 45 scores get accepted.
Good Luck!
